My favorites from this cookbook have been the orange chiffon cake, the white whisper cake, and the cheesecake. I made the Orange Chiffon cake, and incorporated it into the Bostini Cream Pie, a recipe that was made famous by an italian restaurant in San Francisco, the name of which escapes me at the moment. The 'Bostini' is worth seeking out on the internet, I think Rose came up with the concept.
My other favorite that I make over and over again is the cheesecake. What I learned from this book in particular about cheesecake is that it's a great cake to actually frost. Of the dozens of versions Rose presents, the one I made typically was the apricot swirl cheesecake with white chocolate cream cheese frosting. For cheesecake lovers it is to die for!
I am a big fan of Rose's cookbooks. She is the Queen of Cake. This is a must have for anyone that bakes, seriously.
