The basic ideas are good, but the recipes often fail to produce expected results. This seems to be a trend in her books and publications, as if the recipes are not tested or proofread before being printed. Expected better from the doyenne of catering and home entertaining.

If you have entire days to devote to baking, go ahead and buy- after I bake from this book I am exhausted and still have to clean up! Not worth it even if the results are sometimes good.
