As an immigrant to the USA from Germany, I know many many of these recipes. I can attest to their authenticity in all respects. If you need pictures in a cookbook, then this one is not for you, but if you have cooked for a while, you will have no difficulty reproducing these tasty and heartwarming dishes. Jochim S.
