The recipe for Peanut Butter Cookies on Page 184 says to bake the cookies twenty-five minutes! At thirteen minutes, they are very brown. The dough is sticky and difficult to work with so I am returning to my Betty Crocker 1961 receipe! Check your times, Martha! And, yes, my oven was heated to 350 degrees.

This is a compilation of the recipes from the two special edition cookie issues all in one place. Everyone I know hoarded their copies of the magazines and ordered multiple copies, so it is quite wonderful to consign the tattered pages to the "keep" stack and use this handy book. Instructions and techniques are clearly written and ensure success if they are followed. I have made many of these recipies over the past several years and have never been disappointed with the results. Except you still can't beat the back of the bag for chocolate chips!
