Long the favorite at backyard barbecues and casual family meals, the burger has recently become the centerpiece at trendy restaurants around the country and the cover girl on dozens of lifestyle and gourmet magazines. Burgers explores the burger in all its guises, offering recipes for both down-home basics and celebrity specialties, and showcasing the mouthwatering results in glorious color photographs.
