The BBQ Queens have created more than 350 delectable, doable recipes for grilled, smoked, barbecued, planked, stir-grilled, and rotisserie-cooked food in The BBQ Queens' Big Book of Barbecue. Don't let the tiaras fool you: Adler and Fertig may advocate having lots of fun while cooking, but they are serious about barbecue. They just know that women approach cooking a bit differently than most ment.

Adler and Fertig cover every step of a meal: shopping lists and tips for easy ingredient preparation, how to keep the mess and cooking time to a minimum when possible so that weeknight dinners are a breeze, and how to grill extra food in order to have great leftovers for meals throuhout the week.

Start with a dinner of Sassy Smoked Whole Turkey with Smoky Chipotle Corn Pudding on the side. Later in the week use the leftover turkey for Smoked Turkey Monterey Club Sandwiches bursting with crisp-cooked bacon, avocado, tomato, and Monterey Jack cheese, or Smoked Turkey Hash served with a mixed greens and frisee salad with a poached egg atop either. Who knew dinner could be so much fun?
