The best Javanese coffee is grown on four government estates. We are presenting one of those, grown in East Java in the vicinity of the Ijen Volcanic complex. This is a smooth-bodied Indonesian coffee without the earthy muskiness associated with the other Indonesian coffees. This is a bright coffee with a delicate, snappy acidity and a sweet, complex aroma. Our roaster says it tastes creamy--an ideal dessert coffee.
